Overview

An easy and quick method to see the magnificent Muktinath (Lord Bishnu) temple in the heart of the Himalayas is to take the Muktinath Charter Helicopter Tour. The journey offers breathtaking vistas of 18 more snow-capped peaks in addition to Mt. Dhaulagiri and Mt. Annapurna. The primary target audience for the Muktinath helicopter tour is anyone who is unable to go to Jomsom on land. A sacred shrine called Muktinath is located in the Mustang region. Muktinath is well-known for Buddhist and Hindu rites. Every year, thousands of people travel to Muktinath. The term Muktinath, which means “salvation temple,” comes from the belief that a visit there purges one of all sins and wickedness. Hindus therefore attempt to visit Muktinath on pilgrimage at least once in their lifetime. The Himalayan terrain is spectacular to see from above during the helicopter ride.
You will take a 30-minute helicopter ride from Kathmandu or Pokhara to the Muktinath Temple, which is directly nearby. Following your time of devotion and a holy bath in the temple’s 108 water spouts, descend to the helipad and take a flight back to Kathmandu or Pokhara.

Trip Itinerary

We’ll rise early and drive from the hotel to the Kathmandu airport. After that, we’re going to board a helicopter and head for Muktinath. We will soar far above the lovely rural communities strewn across the rolling green hills and terraced fields. On our way to Muktinath, we will ascend the Kaligandaki Gorge and travel through the breathtaking Annapurna Sanctuary. We will be greeted to breathtaking views of the gigantic Annapurna and its range of peaks at Muktinath, where we will have breakfast. At the base camp, we have roughly 25 to 30 minutes before we go once more for Kathmandu. We get to see the interesting Poon Hill and the traditional villages of Ghandruk and Chhomrong as we fly back over the vast mountains. We will be driven back to our hotel room after we arrive in Kathmandu, where we may unwind.
