GENERAL
- For your trekking supplies, NHT offers a 70-liter duffle bag or rucksack bag. For non-trek things left at the accommodation, it is advised to bring an additional bag.
- Day Pack (20–22 Liters): Perfect for toting around everyday necessities like snacks, drinks, and a camera.
- NHT provided the down jacket, which is rated for -20°C and is necessary for warmth. After the hike, it must be returned.
- The NHT 4-Season Sleeping Bag, with a -20°C rating, guarantees a cozy night’s sleep in chilly weather. After the hike, it must be returned.
- Extra batteries or a power bank: To recharge electronics when there are no power sources available.
- Device Charger: Make sure the charger you bring is appropriate for your gadgets. You will need it to keep your electronics charged for the duration of the hike.
- Travel Adapter: Plug types C, D, and M are used in Nepal. You may charge your devices anywhere there is power available if you have a universal travel adapter that works with these kinds of outlets.
- Waterproof covers for your bags to shield them from snow and rain.
HEAD
- Sunglasses or a scarf offer UV protection.
- Warm fleece hat or light balaclava: To stay warm on chilly mornings and evenings.
- UV-protective sunglasses are needed to shield the eyes from glare and UV radiation.
- Ear covers or headbands provide extra warmth for ears without enclosing the head.
FEET
- Lightweight, thin inner socks absorb moisture through wicking.
- Thick, Warm Wool Hiking Socks: To provide insulation and comfort.
- Waterproof and insulated hiking boots are essential for both comfort and traction.
- Sandals or sneakers for camp wear: To unwind at the campsite.
- Gaiters: For additional weather protection against rain and snow.
- Backup laces in case of breaks: spare laces.

- Optional fleece wind-stopper jacket: an extra layer of protection against the wind.

- It is advised to have a general first aid kit on hand, but the NHT also includes a basic kit with the guide.
- Big plastic bags: Keep stuff dry when it rains.
