The Nepalese Himalayan Mountains contain the bowl-shaped Kathmandu Valley. It has at least 130 significant monuments, including major Hindu and Buddhist pilgrimage sites, and is situated at the nexus of ancient Asian civilizations, encompassing both the Indian subcontinent and the larger Asian continent.
The largest freshwater lake in the Nepalese Himalayas is Rara Lake (MUGU). It is the primary feature of the Rara National Park, which is situated in the Karnali Province’s Jumla and Mugu Districts. It was designated as a Ramsar site in September 2007 and encompasses 1,583 hectares, including the adjacent swamp. The entire size of Rara National Park is 106 km².

After breakfast, continue your tour in Kathmandu by seeing the Pashupatinath Temple, the Boudhanath Stupa, and the Swoyambhunath Stupa. Head to the domestic airport to catch your Nepalgunj flight. Get up and go to the Nepalgunj hotel. Spend the night in Nepalgunj.
Temple of Pashupatinath
Located in the eastern portion of the Kathmandu Valley, the capital of Nepal, the Pashupatinath Temple is a well-known and revered Hindu temple complex. It is situated on the banks of the Bagmati River, some five kilometers northeast of Kathmandu.
The Boudhanath Stupa
Nepal’s Boudhanath stupa is located in Kathmandu. Situated approximately 11 miles from Kathmandu’s center and northeastern suburbs, the stupa boasts one of the largest circular mandalas in Nepal.
Swayambunath
Located on top of a hill in the Kathmandu Valley, west of Kathmandu city, is the ancient holy structure known as Swayambunath. ‘Sublime Trees’ is how the place is known in Tibetan, referring to the wide variety of trees that can be seen on the hill.
We have an early flight today to Talcha Airport in Mugu. The hotel representative will pick you up and drop you off at the airport. After 30 minutes of rowing and touring around Rara Lake, the evening will be spent around a campfire and dancing. Spend the night in Rara.
Lake Rara:
The largest lake in our nation, Rara Lake, is a less visited, less crowded ecotourism destination in Nepal, located far from the busy metropolitan centers in the center of a natural and cultural wonderland. Compared to the rest of Nepal, the views of the usual lifestyle, culture, and landscape along the route are very different. The National Park, which has rare and fragile species of pine, spruce, juniper, and coniferous forest, encircles the lake. Incredible views of the milky Himalayan peak covered in snow at the summit combine with other breathtaking beauties to draw tourists.
Traveling to Nepalgunj by early flight. Continue on to your subsequent flight to Kathmandu. Time to relax and have fun.
