The proverb “Every other building in the valley is a temple, and every other day is a festival” describes the Kathmandu valley in Nepal. The valley is full of historical and religious locations where the many ethnic communities continue to celebrate holidays and other events that they consider to be part of Nepal. Nepal has witnessed significant transformations in the arts and the ways that they have impacted people’s lives throughout history. Our art tour will concentrate on the various works of art, antiques, and buildings that have stood the test of time in the valley, as well as their evolution and ongoing evolution into the present day.
Located in Nepal’s Gandaki province’s Tanahun District, Bandipur is a hilltop village and rural municipality. Bandipur is becoming more and more popular among tourists due to its preserved, traditional cultural atmosphere.
Located in central Nepal, Pokhara is a city by Phewa Lake. It serves as a starting point for the well-traveled Annapurna Circuit trek in the Himalayas. After breakfast, start your full day of sightseeing, which will take you to the Pashupatinath Temple and the Boudhanath Stupa. The Temple of Pasupatinath
The Pashupatinath Temple is a well-known and revered Hindu temple complex situated in the eastern portion of Nepal’s Kathmandu Valley, on the banks of the Bagmati River, some five kilometers northeast of Kathmandu, the country’s capital.
Stupa of Boudhanath
A stupa in Kathmandu, Nepal, is called Boudhanath. Situated approximately 11 kilometers from the city center and northeastern outskirts of Kathmandu, the stupa is one of the biggest spherical stupas in Nepal due to its enormous mandala.
The Swayambunath
West of Kathmandu City, on a hill in the Kathmandu Valley, sits the ancient holy structure known as Swayambhunath. The place is known as “Sublime Trees” in Tibetan because of the wide variety of trees that can be found on the hill.
Patan Durbar Square
The heart of the Nepali city of Lalitpur is Patan Durbar Square. The Kathmandu Valley is home to three Durbar Squares, all of which are recognized as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. This is one of them. The old royal palace where the Malla Kings of Lalitpur lived is one of its highlights.
After breakfast, travel for Bandipur (143 km/ 5 hours) while taking in the breathtaking scenery along the Trishuli River National Highway. You can use a cable to get to the Manakamana Temple along the way. Drive to Bandipur after puja and darshan, and check into the hotel when you get there. stroll during the evening at Bandipur’s tourism area. Appreciate the picturesque vista of the Annapurna Range and the western Himalayan peaks. Go back to your accommodation in Bandipur and spend the night.
Manakamana Temple
Known as the Manakamana Devi temple in honor of Bhagawati, the Hindu deity who, in her incarnation, fulfills the requests of pilgrims with the purest heart. Located west of Kathmandu, on a 1,300-meter hill, is the temple. Manakamana Temple, like many other hilltop temples, has a view of the Marshyangdi and Trishuli rivers.
The Bandipur
Bandipur is a charming, undiscovered jewel in Nepal and an authentic village. Traditional village architecture, breathtaking views of the Himalayas, beautiful walks through the countryside, local adventure sports, and first-rate lodging with Himalayan View are all combined here. In addition, it’s a great way to experience a tranquil bit of rural Nepal while taking a break from the trip between Pokhara and Kathmandu.
Hike to Thinimai Temple in the early morning to see the Himalayan range above the clouds (weather permitting). You may enjoy a really picturesque view of Bandipur town and the surrounding mountains at daybreak with a quick 30-minute stroll up to the top. The Water Fall, Davi’s Fall
A waterfall called Davi’s Falls is situated in Pokhara, Nepal’s Kaski District. When the water hits bottom, it produces an underground tunnel. This tunnel descends 100 feet below ground level and is roughly 500 feet long.
Gupteshwor Cave
This sacred grotto, which is located across the street from Devi’s Falls, is home to a massive stalagmite that is revered as a Shiva lingam. With the ticket, you can crawl behind the temple through a tunnel and emerge into a wet cave next to Devi’s Falls’ roaring waters.
Seti River
The milky white water and misleading river channel of Seti River are well-known features. The stream flows down a profound canyon that spans the massive Mahabharata range and empties into a huge pit in the town’s center. From a park near the Gorkha Museum in Old Pokhara, one can glimpse the gorge.
After breakfast, return to Kathmandu by car. Reach Kathmandu. Time to relax and have fun.
