Although short, the three-day hike to Dhampus Hill is highly rewarding. We arrive at Dhampus hill after passing through a brief section of woods, farm terraces, and small settlements. Arriving to Dhampus presents us with a close-up, face-to-face glimpse of the Annapurna and other mountains. We take in the breathtaking evening and morning sunsets over the Himalayas, which is a sight you will remember for a very long time. In addition to being a mountaintop overlook, Dhampus is also a tiny Gurung community.
Our knowledgeable trekking guide will come to your hotel to begin the journey, which begins in Kathmandu. We spend the second day seeing Kathmandu, stopping at the Durbar Square, Pashupatinath Temple, Bouddhanath Stupa, and Swayambhunath Stupa. We travel to Pokhara by car on the third day of our journey. We trek to the Sarankot mountaintop on the fifth day of our journey. The greatest place to witness the dawn and sunset is this viewpoint, which offers breathtaking views of Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Annapurna, Ganesh Himal, Hiuchuli, Lamjung, and Machhapuchhre. The stunning town of Pokhara, which is only six to seven hours from Kathmandu, serves as the starting point for the Annapurna Base Camp hike. We set out early in the morning on our excursion. The numerous turns and turns make the road trip enjoyable. Gorgeous vistas of the Himalayas, verdant meadows, and riverbanks are seen. The Trishuli, Marsyangdi, and Narayani rivers provide for an amazing drive. We can spend the night in Pokhara since it will heighten the excitement of the trip. After eating breakfast in Pokhara, we depart for Phedi. One hour and forty-five minutes is needed. We set out on our journey to Dhampus from Phedi. The hike takes two to three hours and is hilly. We travel through numerous villages, gorgeous terraced fields, and thick woodlands. Dhampus is home to the distinctive Gurung culture. It is well-known for its breathtaking views of verdant hills and mountains like Machhapuchhre and Annapurna. It’s the ideal location for tourists to see the sun come up and set. Our overnight stay is at Dhampus.
We get up early today to witness the sunrise above Mt. Manaslu and the Annapurna range. In Dhampus, we have breakfast before beginning our hike to Sarangkot. The trail winds through middle-class surroundings, verdant hills, rice fields, and breathtaking Himalayan range vistas. We hike for five to six hours before arriving in Sarangkot. With breathtaking views of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Hiuchuli, Lamjung, and Machhapuchhre, this is the ideal place to witness the dawn and sunset. We may also take in the beauty of Phewa Lake and the Pokhara Valley. Our overnight stay is at Sarangkot.
We have to up early on this particular day in order to witness the stunning sunrise above the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges. After eating breakfast in Sarangkot, we begin our hike towards Pokhara. It requires two hours. We visit the Bindabasini Temple, the Tibetan Refugee Camp, Mahendra Cave, the Seti River Gorge, Davis Fall, and Gupteshwor Cave during our sightseeing tour of Pokhara today. We stay at the hotel for the night.
In Pokhara, we have breakfast before setting off to return to Kathmandu. Six to seven hours pass. Once we reach Kathmandu, one of our staff will take you to the appropriate hotel. You celebrate the journey’s end with a goodbye meal in the evening. Stay in Kathmandu for the night.
