One of Nepal’s biggest wildlife parks, Bardia National Park is situated in the Terai region of Lumbini Province. It is one of the most peaceful and remote national parks for a wildlife safari tour, covering 968 square kilometers. It’s an amazing park with an untainted wildness of grasslands, sal forests, and alluvial trails that are pierced by the Karnali River.
53 mammal species, including rhinoceroses, wild elephants, Bengal tigers, swamp deer, and Gangetic dolphins, may be found in Bardia National Park. In addition, the Park is home to 250 species of birds as well as 23 species of amphibians and reptiles. You can take a road journey or an airline to get to the park.

The Nepalgunj Airport will be the point of pickup for a representative of Mission Nepal Holidays. We will arrive at the Bardia National Park region after two hours of driving. We then visit the village of ethnic Tharu people after checking into our lodge. The forests and the Tharus people have coexisted peacefully for many years. We then visit the crocodile farm and visitor center of Bardia National Park. Spend the night in a jungle resort.
This morning, we stroll directly into the heart of the woods after eating breakfast. We enter Bardia’s steaming woods under the guidance of the porter and nature ranger. Numerous unique species of wildlife can be found in this jungle. It is remarkable to have seen endangered Asian elephants, one-horned rhinoceroses, Bengal tigers, black bucks, golden jackals, and striped hyenas. In certain areas, Machan towers provide great vantage points from which to watch animals wandering around in the jungles without realizing we are around. Our day is concluded with a traditional Tharu dance performed as we head back to our resort for dinner.
The third day of the visit to Bardia National Park is charming and exciting. We have a lovely breakfast before making the hour-long trip to the village of Chisapani, which is situated across the Karnali River. Here, we head out onto the water to have a peek of the wildlife that resides in this peaceful area. We get to enjoy the stunning subtropical scenery and an abundance of wildlife during the trip.
We have a substantial breakfast and are in for an eventful morning. We embark on a safari ride by climbing onto the back of an elephant. It’s a special approach to observe wild animals up close while remaining completely safe. We can travel deeper to witness the timid deer, langur monkeys, and boars thanks to the elephant’s casual, steady pace. A representative from Mission Nepal will drop us off at the Nepalgunj airport when our safari tour is over. We board a subsequent trip to Kathmandu, from which point you will return home with priceless memories.
