(Altitude: 10,200 FT): For both Hindus and Buddhists, Badrinath is a highly significant pilgrimage place. The temple of Badrinath is devoted to Lord Vishnu. This location takes you to the well-known Chota Char Dam Yatra. The place on Earth where Lord Vishnu meditated under a Badri tree for a millennium and imparted to us a final plan for the well-being of humanity is unique. Travel time (by drive, 4 hours)
Proceed to Devprayag/Srinagar after arriving at the Dehradun airport or Haridwar railway station today. En route to the hotel, you will get to visit the stunning “Devprayag Sangam” (River Alaknanda & River Bhagirathi). After that, check into the hotel.
On the surface, it takes about seven hours.
On the fourth day, you will go to Badrinath.
The following rivers should be searched along the way: “Vishnu Prayag Sangam” (River Alaknanda & River Dhauli Ganga), “Rudraprayag Sangam” (River Alaknanda & River Mandakini), “Karanprayag Sangam” (River Alaknanda & River Pinder), and “Nandprayag Sangam” (River Alaknanda & River Nandani).
When you get to the hotel, check in. Visit a temple and witness the evening Aarti of Lord Vishnu (worship).
Journey time (seven hours via car)
Get ready to seek the blessings of Lord Vishnu at the shrine of Badrinath. If time permits, visit Mana hamlet (03 km from Badrinath), the last Indian community before the border with Tibet. Visit here to visit Bhim Pul and Vyas Cave.
Later on, travel to Devprayag or Srinagar and make your hotel reservation.
