Highlights

Overview

The Nepalese Himalayan Mountains contain the bowl-shaped Kathmandu Valley. It has at least 130 significant monuments, including major Hindu and Buddhist pilgrimage sites, and is situated at the nexus of ancient Asian civilizations, encompassing both the Indian subcontinent and the larger Asian continent.

Chitlang is a typical Nepalese town with stunning houses and mountains encircled by verdant forests home to more than 160 different species of animals and birds. Chitlang offers a delightful experience combining the natural beauty of the region with its rich cultural past. Within the Narayani zone, in the Makwanpur district, sits Chitlang, an early Newari hamlet. It is located in the southern main path of the 8289-foot Chandragiri hill and at the highest point in the northern part of the Makwanpur district. Chitlang’s large green spaces have made it more appealing. Apple boasts a vast garden with more than a million trees. There aren’t many new cottages built between the backyard, giving visitors an exciting place to stay.

In the Makwanpur District in central Nepal’s Thaha Municipality, Daman is one of the most stunning tourist destinations. At an elevation of 2,322 meters, it is located on the Tribhuvan Highway roughly 77 kilometers southwest of Kathmandu.

We visit the world heritage sites of Durbar Square, Pashupatinath Temple, Swayambhunath Stupa, and Bouddhanath Stupa. Ancient regal lifestyles are illuminated by Durbar Square. One of the most significant sites of worship for all Hindus is the Pashupatinath Temple. The moniker “Monkey Temple” refers to Swayambhunath, and the world’s largest stupa is the Bouddhanath Stupa. We meet our fellow travellers at the Mission Nepal Holidays office around midday and have a discussion about our trip.

Day 3 : Drive to Daman 2400m/7874ft.

We leave early in the morning to drive to Daman. We travel to Naubise along the Prithivi highway. We drive up the hilly route towards Daman from Naubise. There is less traffic on this twisting, narrow route. We travel through several locations along the route, including Tistung and Palung. When we get to Daman, we register at the hotel.
