Your adventure begins with a scenic flight to Tenzing-Hillary Airport in Lukla, one of the world’s most thrilling mountain airstrips. From Lukla, the journey follows the Dudh Koshi River Valley, passing through charming Sherpa villages such as Phakding, Monjo, and Jorsale.
- Reaching Namche Bazaar, the bustling Sherpa capital, you’ll find cozy lodges, bakeries, cafes, and markets. An extra day here allows you to acclimatize and explore highlights like:

Day 1 : Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport (KTM) Kathmandu
Reach Kathmandu at any moment. We will greet you at the airport and provide you with additional program details. Check into the hotel as there are no activities scheduled for the day. Enjoy your stay at the hotel for the night.
Day 2 : Fly to Lukla and trek to Phakding (2652m/8699ft) Duration: 3 hours
Transfer to the airport in the morning for the flight to Lukla. Even the flight to Lukla is an event of a lifetime. The runway’s two ends are only separated by an astonishing 60 meters, and the airfield is rated highly. Trek to Phakding for a breathtaking glimpse of Kusum Kangraru and a verdant environment. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included in the overnight stay at the guesthouse.
Day 3 : Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440m/11283ft) Duration: 6 hours
We travel up the Dudh Koshi through forests of cedar and pine from the Himalayas to the well-known settlement of Namche Bazaar. Tibetan and Nepalese traders exchange textiles, dried meat, and salt at the ancient trading station known as Namche. In addition to being a fantastic place to purchase handcrafted goods, Namche continues to be the hub of trade in the Khumbu, drawing traders from the lowlands and the Himalayas. In addition to spending time with your team and touring the local markets, you will spend two days in Namche for acclimatization. We get our first looks at Everest and the surrounding peaks while hiking. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included in the overnight stay at the guesthouse.
Day 4 : Namche Bazar - Everest View Hotel - Return
Today is dedicated to acclimatization; we will trek to the reputedly highest airport in the world, Syangboche Airport (3700m). After that, ascend to the Everest View Hotel for breathtaking sweeping views of other mountains like Tawache, Lhotse, and Everest. See the Everest Photo Gallery and the Sherpa Culture Museum on the way back. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included in the overnight stay at the guesthouse.
Day 5 : Trek to Tengboche (3860m/12660ft) Duration: 5 hours
The simple, level trail heads towards the Everest vista before descending into the Dudh Kosi Valley at Pungki Thanka. From there, it climbs the Dudh Kosi valley’s right flank to Tengboche Monastery, which is situated at an elevation of 3860 meters. The lengthy ascent is more than made up for by the breathtaking views of Mount Amadablam and, on a clear day, Mt. Everest and the surrounding peaks. It is the spiritual hub of the Khumbu. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included in the overnight stay at the guesthouse.
Day 6 : Trek to Namche (3440m/11283ft) via Khumjung village (3700m/12136ft) Duration: 6 hours
Ascend Pungki Thanka and finish the difficult descent to Khumjung hamlet, where we tour the Khumjung monastery and Hilary School before making the short descent to Namche. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included in the overnight stay at the guesthouse.
Day 7 : Trek to Lukla (2800m/9184ft) Duration: 7 hours
You will board your return aircraft to Kathmandu at the small mountain airfield at Lukla, where the journey continues along the Dudh Kosi River. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included in the overnight stay at the guesthouse.
Day 8 : Fly back to Kathmandu
An incredible gorgeous 30-minute flight returns to Kathmandu. hotel stay for the night with breakfast included.
Day 9 : Leisure day
Take a day to relax or explore Kathmandu, depending on your mood. hotel stay for the night with breakfast included.
Day 10 : Farewell
You will be picked up at the airport by a Mission Nepal Holidays Team representative around three hours prior to the scheduled departure.
